š! the baltic comics magazine #26: dADa, October 2016
This compilation of comics is by Kuš! (koosh!) based in Riga, Latvia. They produce comics on paper and organize exhibitions & related events.
"The turbulent times of a century ago led to a revolution in art. In his "Dada Manifesto," Hugo Ball proclaimed: "How does one achieve eternal bliss? By saying dada. How does one become famous? By saying dada. With a noble gesture and delicate propriety. Til one goes crazy. Til one loses consciousness." 2016 marked the centenary of the Dadaist movement. To celebrate this fittingly, international artists created their very own absurdist comics inspired by Dada. It's time to lose your mind: 'Dada mhm dada da.' "
