Animals That Saw Me Vol. 2 by Ed Panar
Animals that Saw Me Volume 2 is the second iteration of Ed Panar’s project of documenting animals staring back at him in urban & suburban areas. The first volume, now out of print, came out in 2011. This one published in 2016 records the brief and whimsical moments when a non-human (bird, insect, mammal, reptile…) sees the photographer in their area. This volume also includes an essay, “Being Seen” by speculative realist philosopher Timothy Morton.
