betweenthehighway receipt book issues
betweenthehighway is founded by Alex Benedict. Alex is from the Cuyahoga valley. Currently, he is a tutor at the University of North Carolina's Writing Center. Walking to work between the highway, clerking at a gas-station, he started betweenthehighway press in order to further a scattered tradition of North American Buddhist poetry and help the food insecure. Poetry printed on receipt paper & placed in a gas station cash slip.

puddlethumb's "[cattle]" is an etymological tunneling through the word 'cattle'. if the Buddha's silence blows out suffering, it must blow out language. dying piece by piece, cattle's blood drains quicker if the heart is beating.
