This limited edition artist publication is in relation to French artist Johanna Tagada’s solo exhibition “Take Care” and presents her second largest textile installation titled “Penser, Manger, Partager” which is French for “To Think, To Eat, To Share.” Edited by Eléonore Grignon. Text in French, English & Japanese. Book includes a small postcard & a piece of naturally dyed cotton by the artist. Hand-numbered & signed by Tagada. Tagada’s art practice includes drawing, sculpture, installation, photography & video. She often conceals ecological messages into her work and invites positive, compassionate behavior from others as a general theme as well.
Published by Poetic Pastel Press in London, March 2018. Poetic Pastel is a positive & collaborative project founded in 2014 by Tagada & others. In 2018 they published their first magazine Journal du Thé. In tune with the deep ecology movement, art, textiles, Poetic Pastel is an open conversation inspired by natural elements, warm memories, rhythm, colors, feelings, relationships, literature, poetry, tea culture & daily life.
