FROM RAYS OF THE SHADOW:

At the end of the line, we can taste the pleasure
of believing what we see will continue past
the periphery. If the sun shines in trifold
phase, infinity can be seen in corners and
accidents. But problems of renewal depend
on discovering where many languages have
an articulation point. Assuming that the
prism splits light while brown is all of it, therefore
brown is the color of everything together
and variable a million ways and is thus
the color of languages and cities. The sun
could almost be brown if it were gentler and close.
So what happens when something so explosive is
divided and measured out? Purity might be
one destructive result—high, sustained, judgmental.
