The Plant Magazine is "A curious observer of ordinary plants and other greenery." Often using a single plant as a theme for each issue, The Plant brings together artists, designers, musicians, photographers and writers to share their perspective on such ordinary plants.
Issue 12 comes with a new design, a larger format and matte cover. This issue looks at “Mistletoe in Kyoto,” Northern California, designer/ artists the Bouroullecs, golab (rosewater), British artist Jeremy Deller, gardens of Chateau de Villandry, Sofu Teshigahara (the man who turned flowers into contemporary art), clouds, tidal zones, Swiss designer Willy Guhl, Dia de Muertos & more.
